On 27. June 2019, according to the decision of the Management Board, I became a member of the Goldsmiths, Watchmakers, Opticians, Engravers and Bronzers Guild of the Capital City of Warsaw and received a dispensation to prepare for the journeyman exam as a member of the Guild. Usually, membership can be obtained after passing the exam. I am pleased to know that my works are appreciated by the Board, but it also mobilizes me to work even harder to learn the craftsmanship. In the 2018/2019 academic year, I graduated a one-year course in workshop graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. The course is a crucial complement to classic craftsmanship. A biographical note in the Academy of Fine Arts Lexicon
Craft School in Siedlce, founded in 1903, which I attended in the years 1990–1995. This is where I learned to use traditional workshop tools in the field of wood and metal processing. And although I didn’t have any contact with engraving, I appreciate most of these skills at work today. Old engraving textbooks require many skills that were common to many types of craft.
